WE HELPED #MAKEADIFFERENCE by meeting our audience on their terms—pivoting a program heavily-reliant on desktop clients to a mobile app with over 20,000 downloads that helped students lead healthy changes in their homes, schools, and communities.
MEETING STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE
Fuel Up to Play 60 wanted to shift its approach to in-school wellness programming and meet students where they were—on their phones and mobile devices. This provided an opportunity to provide information on important wellness topics to the NFL and America’s Dairy Farmers, including nutrition, physical activity, leadership, and mindfulness. INTERACTIVE APP: WHOLE-BODY HEALTH CustomED planned, designed, and developed the Student Zone App, connecting with the youth audience on their terms. This initiative took the form of a smartphone app available through both the Apple and Google Play stores; with every element designed and built in-house, ranging from creative and promotional materials to the app coding itself, to end-user support. The Student Zone App became a fully out-of-the-box solution to driving awareness and support for the dairy industry through promoting youth health.
THE IMPACT Since shifting to the App model, the Student Zone App has been downloaded over 20,000 times, resulting in thousands of new accounts bringing educational content to students across the country. The Student Zone App has further leveraged partnerships with the NFL to develop exciting, in-depth content that builds out Dairy Awareness in-depth.
