WE HELPED #MAKEADIFFERENCE by collaborating with the New England Dairy team to design and facilitate an engaging online Game Day event that rewarded students and educators in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
REWARDING LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATION
New England Dairy wanted to reward students and educators who had demonstrated leadership and innovation skills during the 2020-21 school year, especially students who had successfully implemented their New England Dairy Innovation Kit, a digital kit connecting New England schools to a larger Farm-to-School initiative.The COVID-19 pandemic meant that an event usually hosted in person needed to be presented virtually while still engaging, celebrating, and recognizing students and educators who had just wrapped up an unexpectedly challenging year.
VIRTUAL REWARD SUMMIT CustomED planned and implemented the creative and educational aspects of the virtual rewards summit. We used our experiential education expertise to bring a “day at the stadium” to life through graphics depicting Gillette stadium, Jumbotron-style images, and an experience based on the four quarters of a football game. Through visits from celebrity guests and experiential activities facilitated by CustomED, students developed the skills they need to influence others and promote dairy in their everyday lives.
THE IMPACT 12 schools and over 60 students from Rhode Island, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut attended the summit, celebrated their successes, and got excited to hit the ground running in the next school year.
